Sanity on the Road
There is one piece of technology that makes travel 100% more palatable to me, and that's iChat on my computer (Apple Facetime works too!). I am so incredibly grateful that my company set me up with such a perfect device for working remotely. Every evening when I'm on the road and far from the kids, I am thrilled that I can drop into our living room and catch up on the news of the day. Many times the kids are less concerned about connecting with me and more excited about playing with special effects on the computer (which explains their twisted images below). I couldn't be more thrilled to see their funny antics. I am a HUGE fan of our company's rock-star IT group who made it happen and who help to keep me sane! Thank you! Thank you!
