When you think you're happy

Shawn Archer is a fabulous storyteller. If all he spoke about was his relationship with his sister, it would be worth a listen. However, this TED speaker wanders around to multiple topics and enlightens as he goes.

In this 12-minute talk, you'll not only be entertained, the hunch you've always had about the "power of positive thinking" will be confirmed. The science Shawn discusses is called "positive psychology" and among other mysteries it solves (at least implicitly) is why #100happydays works and why we all feel better when we skip the evening news cycle.
